Objectives of Establishment
1.Policy: Foster industry-academia cooperation and exchanges in the field of creative design and application.
2.Research: Promote professional researches related to creative design and application, for the purpose of enhancing research productivity and reputation.
3.Education: Develop educational trainings and to strengthen students’ knowledge and skills related to creative design and application, in order to improve students’ future workplace competitiveness.
Orientation of the Center
The orientation of the center is to foster industry-academia cooperation and exchanges, to aggressively investigate the latest academic knowledge and industrial context in the field of creative design and application, and to specifically plan effective teaching models, R&D issues and academic exchange activities, so as to further strengthen the occupational development of teachers and students in the College of Design.
Missions and Responsibilities
Director of the Center: Organize, coordinate and integrate the members of various sections of the center and implement the developmental guidelines and objectives of the College and University.
Secretary of the Center: Set up various projects and assist in the implementation and development of work of various sections of the center.
According to the focuses of the tasks required, the center is divided into four sections:

Visual Communication and Design Section: Consult and analyze the feasibility of industry-academia projects related to visual communication and design, and assist the College and R&D Center in promoting and implementing various professional projects.

Stylish and Artistic Design Section: Investigate current industry trends and analyze the feasibility of industry-academia projects related to stylish and artistic design, so as to assist the College and R&D Center in promoting and implementing various professional projects.

Cosmetic Science and R&D Section: Integrate R&D projects of biotechnological products, and assist the College and R&D Center to conduct industry-academia projects.

Product Design and Application Section: Consult and analyze the feasibility of industry-academia projects related to product design and application, and assist the College and R&D Center in promoting and implementing various professional projects.

Cooperate with government organizations, related industries and foundations, in order promote industry-academia projects and human resources training in the field of creative design and application.
