History and Current Status

Responding to the government policy of developing Taoyuan Aerotropolis, Vanung University aims to posit itself as Aerotropolis University, within which tourism, hospitality, and management fields are the main developing characteristics. This college of tourism, hospitality, and management was set up in 2015. Seven majors are available as options within this degree program: Food and Beverage Management , Tourism and Leisure Management, Hotel Management , Air Transport and Service Management, Business Administration, Information Management, and  Marketing and Logistics. Students may pursue the B.S. degree and earn technical certificates while completing the requirements for the degree, or pursue one or more certificates to develop or upgrade their skills in a particular field.

Introduction

1. Courses offered in Dept. of Tourism and Leisure Management will provide students with both theoretical knowledge and practical abilities required at work.
2. Courses offered in Dept. of Food and Beverage Management will provide students with the knowledge and expertise skills in restaurant and tourism operations.
3. Courses offered in Dept. of Hotel Management will provide students with an introduction to hotel management.
4. Courses offered in Dept. of Air Transport and Service Management will train students to be full-service aviation specialists.
5. Courses offered in Department of Business Administration focus on two modules: service management and operation planning.
6. Course offered in Department of Information Management will provide students with the training of e-commerce and multi-media design.
7. Courses offered in Department of Marketing and Logistics will train students to be marketing and logistics management professionals with global views and culture awareness.

1.    Tourism and Leisure Management department has both day school and night school (both four-year and two-year college) along with four-year and two-year college in-service programs).
2.    Food and Beverage Management department has both day school and night school (both four-year and two-year college), in-service education program, and academic-industry cooperating program .
3.    Hotel Management department has both day school and night school (four-year college).
4.     Air Transport and Service Management department has day school (four-year college).
5.    Business Administration department has day school and night school (four-year college), in-service education program, and the master program.
6.    Information Management department has day school and night school (four-year college), in-service education program, and the master program.  
7.    Marketing and Logistics department has day school and night school (four-year college), and in-service education program.

College’s long-term research directions
