The 2015 International Korean Cup 10 Cocktail Championship was held at Seoul, Korea on October 3rd, 2015. Mr. Ho Jhong-Tang, a student from the Department of Hotel Management in Vanung University, Taiwan, after a two-month intensive training, was chosen to represent Taiwan to participate in this international championship and won the third place through his outstanding performance.
Many excellent participants from all over Asia gathered in Korea came to this competition. In this international event, Mr. Ho frankly said that he was very nervous at first because “most of the participants are experienced predecessors, and without doubt, their expertise in making cocktail is outstanding.” In this event, it was required that the participants use Korean Soju as the base liquor for the cocktail. Mr. Ho then decided to mix famous Oolong Tea from Taiwan in the cocktail. For the first time, Oolong Tea was extraordinarily mingled with Korean Soju. Together with special decorations, Mr. Ho named his Taiwan-Korean mixed work as “Dancing Tea Ceremony”. Through skillful techniques and creativity, Mr. Ho then won the third place in the group of International Flair Bartending.
