Once again VNU (Vanung University) is awarded the Teaching Excellence Project by the MOE. And to be a Cloud, Digital and Aerotropolis University, VNU invests NT$ 200,000,000 to create a Cloud Integrated Teaching Platform and provides every freshman and staff member with an i-Pad mini as a gift to enjoy the convenience of internet information.
Besides hardware, to stand out as the only cloud digital learning campus across the nation, VNU also invests NT$ 180,000,000 on digital teaching materials and adopts new info-tech equipment to set up a 6A-class (Any time, Any place, Any subject, Any device, Any media, and Any pace) network, offering students and teaching staff a teaching-learning mode via learning software and cloud service so that they can teach, learn, read, check and share information without any limit.
Through i-Pad mini and the 6A-class network, students can locate their e-classrooms, check their curricula, get information on part-time jobs, establish their own E-portfolio for future employments, make i-Mentor appointments, and so on.
Zhong Xinyun, a freshman of the Department of Information Management, says “I-Pad mini and the 6A-class network are the best learning tools which pave a highway to the related information I need and make my learning colorful.”
